Molds in pictures

See an in-house mold become your branded piece

A private-label scratcher can start on one of 200+ in-house molds. These photographs follow the printed face, the shaped board, the hands-on fit, and the carton reviewed before bulk.

Use the set to ask which mold fits the shelf, where your artwork sits, how the parts are fitted, and how the finished pieces are placed in the carton.

ODM

Start with a structure the factory already knows

A private-label scratcher starts on one of 200+ in-house molds. You send the market and the artwork. R&D can still adjust a house, a post, or a modular set before sampling. Your artwork stays with the program.

  • A tiered display of cat-print scratcher rings, from a small top ring down to a wide base.

    Rings from one die

The circular form stays; you swap outer seasonal or everyday prints without new tooling costs.

  • Pastel lounge scratchers in a tall retail stack, soft color on a sturdy corrugated curve.

    Lounge stacks

Curved sofa molds engineered to nest cleanly in the carton, ready for your brand colors.

  • A corrugated scratcher lounge with a play ball, shaped for both a scratch and a short game.

    Play built in

Start from a proven lounge mold, then add rolling balls, tracks, or print your channel needs.

  • Printed scratcher lounges stacked for retail, pastel faces repeating down the pallet.

    Retail-ready lounges

One proven lounge structure can carry different paper grades and exclusive retail faces.

  • Oval scratcher beds lined up for packing, a calm repeat of the same lounge shape across the floor.

    Oval beds

Ergonomic bowl-shaped scratcher beds; rim height, density, and print are set in the sample.

  • Paw-print scratcher rings ready on pallets, a retail pattern in a full production stack.

    Paw-print runs

Seasonal and everyday SKUs share existing cutout dies while your print files stay exclusive.

  • Standing rings of printed cat scratchers, a tall display of repeatable round forms ready to pack.

    Standing rings

Vertical ring scratchers built on proven dies, with custom lamination thickness and artwork.

  • Mixed-print scratcher rings grouped on pallets, several retail looks from one factory floor.

    Several retail looks

Multiple regional lines can share a proven base mold while each keeps its own exclusive artwork.

How a mold becomes yours

Adapt the structure, then lock the sample

The review covers structure fit, printable areas, glue lamination, board choice, edge finish, and packing. Approved decisions are carried into the official sample.

  • Designers at their screens drawing cat scratchers structures in the design studio.

    Structures on screen

Designers draw the house, tree, or modular adjustment on screen before the sample is cut.

  • Sales staff reviewing cat product images on screen in the sales office.

    Artwork on the desk

The pre-press desk reviews your print files for dieline fit before they go to the sample.

  • An operator proofing color on the inspection table before a scratcher print run is approved.

    Color on the table

A printed color proof is checked before holiday or everyday artwork is treated as final.

  • Sample benches for new cat scratchers structures, where a mold change is checked in hand.

    Sample benches

Modified structures are laminated, assembled, and tested here before the official sample is signed.

  • Vacuum-bed sample cutter used to prove custom dielines before a scratcher goes to bulk tooling.

    A first cut

The digital sample cutter proves a dieline adjustment before bulk tooling begins.

  • A CNC router cutting custom scratcher shapes from corrugated board.

    Shaped on the router

A CNC router cuts a smooth custom outline when a stock mold is only the starting point.

  • A gloved maker fitting a printed scratcher ring by hand so the joint sits tight and the print lines up.

    Fitted by hand

A printed outer wrap is fitted by hand so the joint and the graphic line up cleanly.

  • A digital press set up for short-run cat scratcher artwork.

    Short-run print

A pilot print run proves ink adhesion and fold registration on the agreed structure before bulk.

ODM process

From a mold match to a packed carton.

  1. A tall stack of printed lounge scratchers, a long even run from the same die.

    Mold match

Tell us the market and the use. A finished drawing is not required. We propose one of 200+ in-house structures.

  2. A cream point cat licking its paw at the arched door of an orange cardboard cat house with a green roof.

    Structure sample

R&D adjusts a house, a tree, or a modular set when the stock mold is only a start. You check that build in hand before artwork is locked.

  3. A print sample checked in the light booth, so brand colors match before the scratcher run is approved.

    Your artwork

Print-ready PDF, AI, or EPS goes on the agreed structure. The print stays with your program. An NDA can be signed before the files move.

  4. Cat-print rings stacked high on a pallet, artwork wrapping every layer of the corrugated form.

    Sample, then bulk

The official sample is typically ready in 5–7 days after artwork and is free for new partners. Bulk is typically 45–60 days including logistics, then IQC, IPQC, and FQC before EXW, FOB, or DDP.

    FREE

Developed from our molds. Complex projects add a 10–15 day buffer on top of the 45–60 day window.

Before you brief us

Starting without a drawing

Short answers buyers copy into a sourcing note. The first sentence of each answer is the conclusion.

Can we start without a drawing?

Yes. ODM starts from an in-house mold, and design drawings for a new idea are usually ready in 3 days. You then approve the structure sample before artwork. Start at ODM service.

How long does production from your molds take?

ODM bulk is usually 45–60 days, including logistics. A complex project adds 10–15 days. The official sample is usually ready in 5–7 days after artwork is agreed. The path is ODM service.

Who keeps the artwork?

You do. Petaful can sign an NDA before PDF, AI, or EPS files are sent, and the print file stays with your order. Details are on OEM service.

Can ODM change more than the print?

Yes. R&D can adjust the size, the opening, or the module on a house, a tree, or a set before artwork is locked. The structure sample is where you check that change. See ODM service.

How many in-house molds does Petaful have?

Petaful has 200+ in-house molds. If you do not have a drawing, start from one of those and put your artwork on it. That path is ODM.

Is the official sample free?

For new customers, yes. It is usually ready in 5–7 days after the structure and artwork are agreed. On OEM, a structure sample comes before that. Ask through contact.

What extra time does a complicated project need?

Add 10–15 days. The base is still 30–45 days for OEM and 45–60 days for ODM, both including logistics. That buffer is named at the start, before you lock a launch date. See OEM and ODM.

Does ODM include my packaging artwork?

Yes. Carton marks, barcodes, and retail inserts can carry your artwork once the structure is set. Send those files with the product print so the pack is sampled too. Packing is on export packing.
